Hello! My name is Teresa Jackson, and I am the Elementary 504 Coordinator/Computer teacher. I am a graduate of South Pemiscot Schools where I attended Kindergarten through 12th grade. I received my Master's degree in Communications Disorders from Arkansas State University.

I worked at New Madrid Elementary as a Language Disordered classroom teacher for one year. I then worked at Osceola Public Schools as a Speech Pathologist for grades 1st through 12th grade. After Osceola, I went on to work as a Speech Pathologist for Pemiscot County Special School District for 21 years. During this time I mainly worked with South Pemiscot students K-12. I am now going on my fourth year as 504 Coordinator/Computers teacher for South Pemiscot Schools. I am so thankful that I have been able to work at South Pemiscot for the last 25 years.

I live in Steele with my husband, Danny. We have two children, Bonnie and Brady. Bonnie owns Pampered Pooches and is a dog groomer in Steele. She has one daughter, Natalia. Brady and his wife live in Alabama with their daughter, Ellie. I attend First Baptist Church in Steele. My husband and I own some land near Eleven Point River. I try to go to our cabin and Eleven Point River anytime I can during the summer. I also love to read books and travel. One of my favorite things to do is spend time with my granddaughters, Natalia and Ellie, any chance I get. In 2014, I started working for Beginning Concepts doing speech therapy for children ages birth to 3. I do this most days after school and during the summer. My passion is to help children in any way that I can. I have always loved working with children, and I am proud to be working at the school that I attended!
