renee kellems

I am Renee Kellems and currently teach 2nd grade at South Pemiscot. I thoroughly enjoy living and teaching in my hometown of Steele, Missouri. I graduated from South Pemiscot, Class of 1982. I received my Associates degree from MCCC in May 1983 and my B.S.E. in Elementary Education/Early Childhood Education in May 1985. 

I began teaching in Blytheville Public Schools from 1986-2000. I taught Kindergarten, 4th grade, and 5th grade. This will be my 17th year teaching at South Pemiscot. I have taught 1st grade, 5th grade Reading/ELA, 4th grade Science/Social Studies, 3rd/4th ELA (Grammar, Spelling, Writing), 4th grade Math/Science, Pre-K, and this is my third year teaching 2nd grade. 

I have been married to my husband, Gary Kellems, for 38 years. Gary is a graduate of South Pemiscot, Class of 1981. We have one son, Christopher, and three grandchildren.
