Emily Gurley

My name is Emily Gurley, and I am the elementary school counselor at South Pemiscot Schools. This is my fourth year as the counselor and prior to that I was a 7th-12th grade business education teacher at Gosnell Secondary School.

I have been married to my husband, Max, for nine years, and we have one daughter, Connor, who is in the first grade at South Pemiscot. 

In my free time I love taking naps, reading, laying out at the pool, watching any show on BRAVO, and spending time with my friends and family. 

As the counselor, I have the privilege to work with every single student in the school, and since taking this job the school and community of Steele have been nothing but welcoming to me and my family. 

I love working at South Pemiscot and look forward to many years helping our students to be the best Bulldogs they can be.
