Dear South Pemiscot Parents and Community,

As principal of South Pemiscot High School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year.   At South Pemiscot, it is our goal to fill our students with an energy and enthusiasm for learning.  It is our mission to help every child feel welcome, connected, and part of our South Pemiscot family.  Additionally, we strive to challenge each student to grow in his or her academic abilities, realize their potential, and be college or career ready by the time they graduate.  At South Pemiscot High School, we have great teachers who spend many hours  planning and creating rigorous lessons to engage and maximize student learning.  Our teachers utilize best practices and analyze academic data to determine current skill levels and to set goals for growth and improvement.  We believe that all students should graduate from high school prepared for the demands of postsecondary education, meaningful careers and effective citizenship.  

Before I go, I would like to say that it is my honor to serve as the principal of South Pemiscot High School.  As an alumni of this school, I take great pride in our tradition of excellence and it is my hope that we continue to grow and improve as we head into the future.  It is truly a privilege to be part of a community where parents, teachers, and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth.
